It took them 7 years to make this? The story line is horrible. First of all It kills off all your favourite characters and forces you to play the person you don’t like in an attempt for you to see her side of the story and in the end sympathise with her, which personally didn’t work for me. PROBABLY because they introduced her into the story as this random chick who bashes Joel’s head in, in front of Ellie. You’re forced to do things that should’ve been a choice, so you can’t make any decisions for yourself, you’re strictly following the story line. And wait, they put a pregnant lady out on patrol? so was there no one else more skilled then her that could’ve gone out instead🤦🏽‍♀️ 2 kids from the enemy side save Abby which she then proceeds to save by killing her own team. Only to bash Joel’s head in right after he & tommy save her? She gives him a slow death with their famous quote “may your survival be long and may your death be swift” what hypocrisy! The characters make the most worst decisions, for example going into a hospital ALONE even after reading letters telling them how much of a bad idea it is and to turn around while you can! How can one person go through and survive the infected over a large group of soldiers with more protection going in together? The game play is so predictable, you just always know when something or someone is going to pop out and start attacking you. 20% of the time you don’t make it to the safe place you’re meant to, it’s either blocked off and you’ve gotta find another way around or some random team comes out and attacks you or holds you hostage, and somehow you'll kill everyone and make it out. Ellie leaves her new family to avenge Joel’s death, kills hundreds of people to find & kill Abby 3 times, only to not end up doing it when she had the chance to? Tf 7 years later and they still ended it on cliff hangers? Did Abby make it to the fireflies? Where did Dina go? Did Ellie get back to her ? and who tf is Danny? I’m so disappointed in this game.
