Ken Follett is an author of outstanding talent. His books pick up u from the very first chapter and don't let go until you reach the very end, feeling sad that you have finished his great books. The Kingsbridge trilogy are amazing books however within 5 chapters I felt I could predict what the eventual outcome was going to be. He has a formula for his book and there is no doubt that it works but I was finding it all a little predictable throughout this 4th book. Having said this I still loved every page and found it an impossible book to put down.
