Don't trust the negative reviews shared by famous review channels like Times of India and all. Actually this movie was good. Both the lead actress have done fantastic roles and the action scenes.....just wow, they impressed with the stunts. Movies should not always show heroes on the top and here the two ladies were no lesser than heroes and prove the power of woman. Just watch and enjoy the movie with family.

As you know it is direct copy and mix of Ugram and KGF, there is nothing fresh to expect from the movie. First half was somewhat engaging but second half is what might test your patience. I literally got bored in the second half. Director shoukd come up with a different script instead of routine script.

No one can deny or write a negative review about this movie. I'm not a fan of Nani but still, I can say that this movie is one of the best that I had seen in recent years. Nani did his best in his role. Emotions being the extreme. Heroine Shraddha Srinath is apt for the role and I felt no other current top actors could've done well. When you leave the theatre, you will come out with satisfaction. Like the reviews said, background scores and music from Anirudh was really good. All I can say is I will watch this movie once again.

Many scenes are too much dragged. Story is stale and predictable. Director tried to stretch emotional scenes but it came out hilarious, especially the emotional scenes of Heroine. Second half was somewhat boring and like someone mentioned we eagerly wait when the movie ends. Climax fight was dragged. Most people in the theatre lost interest and wanted to leave the hall before even the movie ended 😅 Good things: screenplay is somewhat different and good. VFX worked at some parts. Some actors role. Verdict: below average to watch at multiplex.

One of the worst movies I've seen in the decade ..... Elders...please prevent your kids and young children from watching this kind of movies. The recent real life news of shraddha from Delhi is a proof of how the mindset of youngsters can change just by watching these kind of movies. This is a serious problem and film makers should not just see from comemrcial point of view. The character of Dulqueer is negative and I'm surprised that reviewers are only talking about how good he acted. Though I'm a fan of his movies but to me story should also matter. At the end of 2-3 hours we should get something positive out of the time spent. Please avoid movies like this and instead watch cartoons or better re watch recent good movies like RRR, Kantara, oh sinamika, Sita ramam etc. Dulqueer brother, please choose right scripts - your fans can get positive vibes by watching such motivating characters like in your past movies

A master piece in deed! This specific movie tells us why folklore culture are so great. People in this modern times feel they are smart and question our past cultures, habits, routines etc. saying 'just superstition' but unfortunately (may be due to kali yuga) many fail to appreciate our customs and fail to realize that there used to be reason for why the customs were set.... Kantara is a proud movie from India which inspires us to rethink and appreciate those customs (even if not following) instead of critiquing them. After watching the movie I was able to recall those village scenes of village gods (gram devthas) and customs that I had encountered so far....I would try to offer my respects to the customs being followed...thanks to Kantara Movie is too good, a master piece, actors have done their job pretty good, background is good and direction is too good. No wonder I see 5 ratings from everyone. Just don't miss the last 15-20 mins scene!

poorly executed movie. Even the mega combo cannot save it. Story telling was dull and everytime you hear 'Dharmasthali' and 'Pada gattam' Atleast hundreads of times, which make it too repeating. Even fans couldn't help but comment on the scenes. What I enjoyed during the movie is the comments running all along the movie at the back benches. I used to like Chiru's and even RamCharan's movie but this one surely is a downfall. Chiru sir should be wise enough to choose a good director and script. Better luck next time....

A very good movie that I had seen in the recent times. Director, actors and even the music director are to be praised of their work. Music and songs are just awesome. Everybody praising the role of Ms. Sandhya Raju, which is right.........though I would also want to appreciate the performance of actor Rohit Behal. He did well both in acting and dancing. I think both the new comers will get more movie offers in the coming years.

Rajini sir is full of energy in this movie. No need to mention his style. He looks superb cool in the flashback. The story is not the regular take of Rajini sir but this is a perfect fit to him. The character shown was powerful but I felt he could've been shown even more powerful. All the other actors did their role well. Must watch - thank you thalaiva.
