Way too serious to be classified as a comedy and not precise enough to be classified as suspense/action. It couldn’t find its voice and felt rushed yet somehow a slog. I may have gone in with too high of expectations but that’s because Glover and Erskine are two of my favorites. Hoping the Community movie was written with more care than this. But from the creators of Atlanta and Pen15, I expected more.

Cohosts act like frat boys on a vacay that their parents paid for. Nothing they talk about is applicable to the average American or the average global citizen. Good try, Netflix! Next time, go for substance over aesthetics.
