This is not appropriate for very little children. The emotional themes are complex and distressing, as is the level of threat in climaxing scenes. Somehow, just because it’s animation, people have decided it’s ok to watch two elderly men try to kill each other with swords, tie children to chairs, or push each other off an airbus. This should NOT be rated U but rather PG. My children were very distressed and unsettled after watching it. Do not recommend.
