This is my honest review for this game, never reviewed anything before on google.
First I'd like to start by saying this game has a lot to offer for a game that's still in early access. the developers actually care and listen to their fan's requests and complaints and promise to add more stuff to the game so the players won't get bored.
The game is absolutely stunning, with beautiful graphics and visuals that make you want to just sit back and relax after a long day of work. it doesn't stop with the graphics, it also has depth and it challenges its players to work hard and build your dynasty, your village, your character, and a family that eventually will become the future ''YOU'', yes, your character will die and your heir will become you and life goes on in this game.
The game is a realistic medieval lifestyle, there are no fantasy aspects, no magic users, or dragons. just like Kingdom Come: Deliverance, you lived a simple life (peasant) who ran from war and started a new life in a new home. you start small, first, you have to build your village and put life in it, settlers, animals, your family and with time this little village can become a prospering town, depending on how many people and building in it. that's what I truly enjoy in this game.
the main story in this game is the slow progress type, meaning it will take years (in-game) to finish so you can't just finish the main quests in one day, and then wonder what you'll do the rest of the game. the stories are amazing, with no voiced dialogues unfortunately but still entertaining, especially if you like to read. there are also more stories and quests going to be added to the game so your characters will never run out of adventures.
The game can be too difficult for some players, once you start, there are no customizable game setting (easy, normal, hardcore) so starting up and running to a bunch of wolves in the woods can easily end all your hard work and set you back to the beginning (Unless you saved)
there are bugs, I'm not going to say the game is 100% perfect, but it's understandable since it's still in early access (they're being fixed). for me, I've played the game for more than 70 hours without being interrupted by a bug or a crash so the game is still playable.
honestly, I encountered more bugs in Bethesda games than in this game and you know (some of) Bethesda games are still fire to this day.
Speaking of Bethesda games, I can't wait for MD to allow mods, modders truly know how to keep games alive even after their prime (Speaking of Skyrim ofc)
