Wonderful to see Douglas and Arkin, as well as several other « mature « actors. Wish Chuck Lorre had been brave enough to go outside the conventional sitcom for the female roles— Nancy Travis As the divorcée trying to find herself only to save the old guy from his lonely self, Sarah Baker (miscast?) as the exasperated but devoted daughter with no other purpose beyond the father ... only Lisa Edelstein has an existence separate from the men —or a personality. But the male friendship is worth watching, as is the best tv funeral since Chuckles the Clown.
