The year is 2020 and I just figured out Jim Carey was speaking in TV phrases throughout the whole movie, even the names he used for himself were TV personality's names. Absolutely genius!

I loooooove this show. Definitely brought me back to my childhood watching novelas with my mom and grandma. It makes me laugh, it makes me cry, it keeps me on the edge of my seat. Rogelio is my absolute favorite character! He’s so funny and full of life And Little Mateo’s character is so funny and adorable. Truly an Americanized telenovela!
