Perhaps my judgement is being biased by the fact that the teacher assigned us this horrible homework assignment each day where we had to summarize the chapters with the requirement to quote the book. However, I also wasn't all that invested in the book itself. The plot summery on Wikipedia doesn't strike me as ULTRA snore fest. It has some interesting elements to it! Perhaps it was the writing style. I'm not keen on the whole "text walls of protagonist doing extremely verbose exposition" thing, so maybe THATS it. Who knows, but I still don't recommend the book. The plot wasn't interesting enough for me to sludge through the slightly unpleasant writing style that plagues these young adult books.

It's a competent book. It's not bad, it's not going to lead to the rise of a second Nazi Germany. But it also isn't divine level writing. It isn't any Paradise Regained, it's not going to convert everyone into rabid Avi fan fiction writers. It's much like "WWII Aces" for the Wii. They both are competent works, give a good bit of enjoyment, and you can tell the creators of both had both passion and genuine interest in creating them. I recommend this book. However, I will deduct one star as Avi added WAY too much imagery to this book. Seriously, every line it seems he had this game with himself on how many adjectives he could fit into every line. It honestly gets irritating after a while as the writing itself is extremely verbose. Something that would normally take only 25% of a sentence instead takes up the WHOLE sentence. If this was a compiled binary I'd think the book was compiled with "-O-2" or something lol.

I'm sure it's good, but dear ALLAH, this game makes me WAY too mad! It think it's mostly that loading screen. It pops up EVERY time you die, and it always takes so long to finish. I don't have time for that, life is already way too short. Not recommended if you have high blood pressure lol. But if your way too patient? Go right ahead!

Can you spell "blatantly stereotypical"? Because I sure can! I'll put $0.13 USD on the line and say that no autistic person, from ANYWHERE or ANYTIME in history EVER acted like the protagonist in this book. Hell, broaden it to all humans, NOBODY acts like that! It's disgusting and I couldn't get more then ~10 pages deep before shutting the book. Whats probably even MORE disgusting are the people that take this book as some sort of "Autism Crash Corse".

Fantastic! It may not be historically accurate, but it IS authentic! Great campaign, I highly recommend! Also, the multiplayer servers for the PS3 still work! They even save your progress!
