Very dark Sci-fi movie that shows a slow degradation of individuals and society as their world falls apart after a very quick catastrophic failure of their trip. Love this movie. It focuses more on the characters slowly going mad and becoming fractured pieces of their original self. Close up shots to focus on the character. Don’t listen to reviews that only talk about how there’s no explosions or how you don’t see a lot of the ship. This is a CHARACTER focused story. Minimal dialogue but everything unfolds through great acting and physical portrayal. Not a movie you’ll feel uplifted at the end of. Just genuinely a deep experience rather than your typical fast food movie. After the credits you’ll immediately begin goggling things about the movie and the poem that it’s based on and go down a rabbit hole on the philosophy and deeper meanings. One draw back is it’s in Swedish but after 10 minutes you’ll get over it and just enjoy the ride.
