This anime is among my personal favourites. Not a mass episodic series like Naruto 200+, Naruto Shippuden 500 episodes etc...which i believe messes up story and context. This series have insane depth, dark and emotional and rather compact and easy to watch episodes & clear character arcs focusing on each protagonist/antagonist specifically made for them. This series stays "true" to the manga and makes more sense when compared to the first installment. A must watch even for non anime viewers.

With animations, characters, world/universe creation, background stories and in general story wise this anime is among the gods. any anime lover MUST watch it.

Simply just one step below Full Metal Alchemist for me. Being one of the better long episodic series among that i watched it is great both in animation and plot. It might get confusing and hard to follow should you watch it in long delays but in one go it is PURE FUN!
PS: Aside from all the positives, character design resembles Dragon Ball so no reason not to love it?
