Demon Hybrid

-SPOILERS- This one was hard for me to type because I thought no matter what they threw at us, I would always love the Fast & Furious franchise--which I still do...just not this specific movie and I refuse to watch it ever again. The action was there...some of the original cast were there...the story-line was a huge miss for me, none of it makes sense. I get they're replacing Dwayne with John, it was a needed step to fill in the missing character but John Cena was not the way to go. The fact that "Jacob" inadvertently kills their dad makes no sense--doesn't even fit with the original storyline from the 1st movie so we all know they literally came up with the Jacob character from out of nowhere. Cardi-B having a cameo was also unnecessary and quite frankly pissed me off, she is literally the exact opposite of what an inspirational woman is and her acting skills are sub-par at best. Roman and Tej were their usual funny selves and while I like their comedic skits, the outer-space scene was ridiculous and literally ended up having no point because they didn't even do anything! All they managed to accomplish was to stay stuck up there until the end of the movie...all in all, I was very disappointed. If you're in it for the action and don't know or care about the storyline, then this is the movie for you. I give it 2 stars. If they had focused less on topping the previous movie and more on the storyline, the movie would have been better. There was no excuse.
