The good :
Nostalgia, meme references, a continuation of Tobey and Garfield's series is definately a bliss to watch. Our childhood spidermen are doing good brought so much tears. Spiderman leaving his alter ego Peter Parker, leaving out of Tony Stark's shadow and setting off into the night in his self made classic spiderman look was absolutely amazing
The bad: It felt the movie solely depended on shock value rather than actual quality/gripping story. The sinister 6 (5 actually) had no motive, no scheme, nothing to defend themselves with but just mindlessly fight for their survival. The whole movie was rushed, no build up.No epic supervillain grand plan, just a street fight on steroids. I really wish there would be the epic sound tracks from Raimi movies or swinging sequences, but that would be getting dissapointed from too much expectations. Spiderman movies back in the days had messages, Spiderman always got up after defeat, there would be community support from the city that he saves (that wouldn't have been possible here for obvious reasons). This movie only had the brawl between the two parties.
Overall, the movie definately has tons of long awaited moments the fans have been begging for and it did justice to Tom's spiderman movie.
Although as a movie, let alone spiderman movie, the storyline felt a bit off.
