I watched the Trump interview this morning. I could see that Chuck Todd was at times frustrated with the answers and he could not refute some statements in that setting-- why argue with Trump? It would not be an effective interview method at all. HOWEVER instead of the panel discussion which was pretty useless-- perhaps the interview could be aired with fact checking as it goes-- so many misstatements and lies by the president. The network would do the public a service by stopping at each statement and producing the facts to be viewed. The way the interview was aired made it look like much of what Trump said was ok. We seem to have let facts and opinions get confused. If our news sources do not present facts, how is the public going to know what is true and what isn't.
