Mary Poppins Returns is a wonderful film, a more than wonderful film in fact. The songwriting and score is fantastic. It was fabulously acted; the scenes, sets, and animation were, stellar; the singing a joy; and the film just an all around emotional journey. I worried a sequel to a one-of-a-kind film could be pulled off, but Mary Poppins Returns is possibly the best sequel in this genre I have ever seen. Go see it, please. You won’t be sorry you did.
