I am giving 5 stars for the acting, without question. But all the hype surrounding this as comparable to Broadchurch, which had a major, major plot twist at the end, and had more episodes, among other things, is silly. This is an utterly terrifying depiction of how someone can be trapped in an abusive marriage with no way out, but death. The domestic violence depicted here is utterly terrifying -- I was expecting to see a public service announcement at the end about how to get help, and there was none, which is a real shame! I watched this in the U.S. through Acorn TV.

I look forward to this show allllll day on Sundays. Tonight is the penultimate episode and still no word on Season 2. The show seems to have flown under the radar somehow. I love it! Everything about is a breath of fresh air. I actually squealed with a saw a clip for an upcoming episode featuring "That Boy Is Mine" -- yes, Brandy and Monica! I'm a 39 y/o Stay at home parent living in Seattle, for demographic reasons, and this is the first review of a tv show I've ever done! Bravo!
