This novel was brilliantly written by the national hero of the Philippines, Jose Rizal. I've learned many morals, and this book symbolizes the social cancer of the country. The storyline and the characters are very interesting at all. Rizal is such a genius! Each character symbolizes the personal traits of every Filipino like Crisostomo Ibarra -- symbolizing as an educated person.
