Honestly I found the show a little annoying. The overall premise was interesting which I why I decided to watch it. However, I found myself getting really pissed at the fact that story was trying to make Nick seem like this victim that we should feel bad for even though she lies and schemes. Don’t get me wrong, what’s going on with her dad and what her foster parents make her do is both wrong and heartbreaking. Yet the fact that she makes Jeremy feel bad for having valid suspicions and essentially makes him the bad guy is super messed up. The fact that he gets physically assaulted, then has to apologize even though she’s been lying the whole time is insane to me. The show definitely gives me mixed feelings but overall I don’t think I’d recommend it.
