When I look back at it, this was actually the first anime movie I had ever watched, and at the time I was a kid, so I hadn't even realised it. I watched it with my older sister, and since she was always abroad for her collage, I only ever got to see her once a year. So it became tradition to always watch this movie when she came home. I was fascinated by the characters, even though it all scared me a little, and surprisingly it didn't scare me enough to make me stop watching it, I was 5 around the time I watched this (believe it or not). I had forgotten the name, until recently when I stumbled upon some art on Pinterest that reminded me of the movie. I'm going to enjoy watching this film again, and I think this time I might even understand it better.
