The book has a lot to teach students of jurisprudence from generation to generation, especially on the historical development of the natural law theory. The book of Antigone, a female character who was able to stand by natural law and defied the decree of a man (her uncle, Creon, ruler of Thebes), which is a man-made law, is one that is worth reading in as much as the study of natural law theory is concerned.
