It's shot beautifully & the opening monologue with the animation was done wonderfully. Maybe it's because I'm trying to learn composition & animation which is why I had a positive impression right from the beginning. Give it a chance, it's one of the better films by netflix.

Until the release of the second season, I've had already watched the first season twice. Once for the story & once for the actors. I had watched every second of the entire first season & felt aw as to how such a gem passed by me for a while, A comedy show centered around a female protagonist that was beautifully written; not to mention genuinely funny without trying hard. I liked the second season; but I would be lying if I said I didn't skip & paused between episodes, Didn't want to binge it. I think the first season was created so beautifully, it made a perfectly okay season seem a little less than what it was. I enjoyed the comedy nonetheless, but I thought that instead of the route in which they highlight stand-up itself as a form of entertainment they made it just a part of the show, which is quite a shame.Though I get it; with the shows name perhaps it was just my own wishes & the producers just wanted to create it surrounding "the marvelous Mrs.Maisel"
