Was good, I enjoyed it! Having studied the battle extensively then there are a few minor historical innaccuracies but nothing major. There is so much to the story that it might have been better as a 10 part mini series like THE PACIFIC or BAND OF BROTHERS. What I liked best was the inclusion of the code breaking efforts and the air strikes launched from Midway itself (particularly the heavy bomber raids that were not included in the 1976). Would've liked to have seen more about the planning from the Japanese side and a bit more of Torpedo Squadron 8 (USS Hornet) as their sacrifice is probably one of the most famous parts of the Battle of Midway. All in all, very good for a Hollywood WW2 film but there's only so much you can include in a 2 hour movie.
