Dull and predictable, 'moody' looks to camera will only take you so far. Mr Clooney must have been hurting for cash to do this.

Lost the will to live half way through. Decent basic premise but the pacing was pedestrian beyond belief. Would say B movie horror, but not sure horror even applies. Do NOT waste 90 mins on this, life is too short.

The latest instalment as the Ken Loach, Jimmy McGovern et al bandwagon rolls on, no shades of grey in their world. As someone who grew up on a Council estate surrounded by a large number of people who had no intention of ever working (I had one neighbour with a walking stick that never actually touched the ground at any point), I find the endless 'salt of the earth protagonist vs the identikit heartless bureaucrats' theme both simplistic and inaccurate. These situations do occur and are deeply tragic, but everyone is now too politically correct to acknowledge the other side of the coin. I had to deal with social services extensively as my parents health failed and found them to be both sympathetic and efficient.

If you can't do it better, don't re-do it. A pale imitation of the original which brought nothing new..Dull and predictable
