This movie is everything I’ve ever wanted and more. The plot is ridiculous, and pretty dumb, the animatronics were cheesy, and the action was over-the-top. Line-less roles might be Nicholas Cage’s new forté. In terms of cinematic perfection, I could see why this got the ratings it did. But who watches movies for that? Not me. I watch movies because I want to enjoy myself as much as possible. And this movie fulfilled my needs. If I could give this movie 6/5 stars I would. Even then, that’s underrating it. Absolute masterpiece.
