Gorgeous visuals and a strong message. Beyoncé outdid herself. When you compare critic reviews with public ratings the racial divide in our modern world is very evident. A wonderful movie celebrating black lives with music and beautiful storytelling. Although the storyline is not as structured as I would have liked; the over all themes and imagery is very much a symbol of pride and celebration of African communities worldwide. And for those criticizing Beyoncé for being the focus of this film, she is after all the artist creating the film around her music so she must assume a position of authority and it really pays off because the execution is marvelous.
