The reviewers have said all. The Chosen depicts Jesus day to day. From choosing the apostles to reacting to the desperation of the everyday people around him, the viewer is seeing the Christ. His relationships and resolve are as extraordinary how we have imagined only he could be. Matthew, Mary Magdalene, and of course Peter come to life in fresh new ways. The self torture of Nicodemus unable to face his cowardice reveals the complexity of the choices he had to make regarding his station among the Israeli elite. Thomas as doubting as he always was until he put his hands into the master's wounds. Great stuff! Thank you for this wonderful work.
