I was surprised by how good The Conners turned out to be. I was convinced that the show would be over a couple of episodes into the season. I thought every weeks episode would be the last one before ratings fell but people enjoyed just as much as I did because it never happened. And the show only got better and better every week. All the characters are there and we got to know them better instead of always having to focus on Roseannes tired out character. Maybe as it turned out people werent exited about watching roseanne again deep down we wanted to find out what happened to all the other characters. I grew up crushing on Becky and I love the fact that I got to know how she turned out. I'm still crushing on her now.
