As a Mexican watching this movie was terrible. the acting was bad, the CGI was terrible, and the story itself was unbelievable since the beginning. The story of La Llorona was completely wrong, and then adding the legend of the Island of the Dolls was something that didn't make sense as both legends are different and have no connection to each other. if your going to do a movie about a very famous legend from another country make sure you read about it and research it so it makes the movie more interesting. Half way through the movie, the legend was told badly and didn't really follow the true legend at all; She had 2 boys with her husband, that she drowned and she drowned with them as well, not just one girl that was saved by the man she was with.
