Brilliantly made!!!! Alibi after alibi... I can't even begin to think how the writer created this. So good. This is how sequels should be made ❤️❤️

There are some instances where Ikka cries on scene. So if you're a softie like me..well, good luck :'( (Mild spoilers ahead) The whole movie revolves around the Thirukkural quote referenced early on in the movie, which is "Death is sinking into slumbers deep, birth again is waking out of sleep.” Although the reason for James's transformation is kept a mystery to viewers, Nanpakal Nerathu Mayakkam surely makes for a pleasant watch. The aesthetics of the village and the ambience created by LJP, whether it's through the sound design or the lingering shots, somehow makes you feel like you're part of his world. Moreover, it's almost as if the vagueness adds to the overall brilliance of it.

Was searching for school-based movies like Breakfast Club. Ended up watching this. So happy I did! I didn't know Ethan Hawke was in it. So when I saw him on-screen, that was a delight. And ofc... Robin!! The ending scene left me sobbing. I wanna try the carpe diem thingy. Hope I end up manifesting what I want. Brilliant movie. I'd have asked for suggestions for more such movies but unfortunately this is a review and y'all can just upvote or downvote it and not reply soooo🤷‍♀️

Good movie. Watched it for Saoirse Ronan. I wonder whether Irish people felt offended by the way their town and people were represented. I don't even know whether it's a real town. Just curious. Someone lmk.

Really underrated movie. The climax makes you rethink a lot of stuff. The soundtrack is also great. Mann Mera is one of my most favorite songs ever. Paresh Rawal did great. It took me a while to get to it cause of the unpopularity of the lead cast and the movie itself. My friend saud it was actually good. So i gave it a try.

Watched it only for Radhika Apte. It's a really good movie. Learn a lot of new stuff. Loved all the three lead's performances.

Wonderful movie. I can see a lot of ppl saying negative stuff about the climax. What is wrong with you all? It is very logical. Both of them love each other, then why should she marry another person who didn't even express his feelings to her. How would you feel if someone who you consider as a friend suddenly tries to kiss you without even letting you know that he loves you? Especially when you are in love with someone else. Will you reciprocate the feelings of this guy? Obviously not. It is a really good ending. Stop blaming her character.

Watched this only for Sebastian Stan. And ofc he was dreamy in this. But Shailene Woodley stole the show here. Didn't even know Jamie Dornan was in this. Anyway, it is very-slowed paced and I'm not a big fan. Although I did love the scene where they met at the party and what followed afterwards. I really do have mixed feelings about the ending.
