Poorly handled, Mystique is not a mutant patron saint. If Magneto was born in the 1930s, why is he so young by 1992? Didn't they hint at phoenix-like powers in the end of Apocalypse? Why does Storm's hair never change from short? Where did Nightcrawler come from?? Zero investment in plot, character development or storyline. Nice special effects, but that's a standard by 2019. No need for aliens. If the bad guys were bad guys like they ought to be then there would be no need to have aliens in the film.
