With respect the man this film is based on, I'm glad he survived. Beyond that, this movie is dull. Personally, given the dire situation, I would have cut my hand off after two days. It was extremely fortunate that the hikers were there because there was no way he would have survived otherwise, after 5 days of almost no food or water. It was a horrendous situation but 5 days?
