I had hoped that our publicly funded ABC could be relied on for unbiased reporting. I was very disappointed to see Lisa Millar on breakfast in an interview with Jim Penman, founder of Jim's Mowing, attack him for supposedly 'flounting' COVID rules, and continued to attack him out of context along with Michael Rowland throughout the segment. As Jim Penman stated, he is following WRITTEN health advice, and intends to amend this if this advice changes. I wonder why the 'story' told tried to steer away from the mis-advice/discrepancy between the written advice and what the Premier stated which was the only 'evidence' they presented, yet was the basis for their continued attack on him. He doesn't deserve it. How many people rely on the news, not fact checking the soundness of reporting, who will be wrongly influenced by this, and who will ignorantlt demonise a person who is trying to do the right thing.
