Although I originally bought this for my husband, he did not care for how much work it involved. When I began to use it, I decided to cover three pages a day in order to finish it in one year. Wow, what a challenge! Three pages a day takes me about 45 minutes to an hour to complete every day. At first I thought it rather a drudge, but the longer I persisted the more I began to glean from the scriptures I was reading. Now, I am at the point of perceiving a real connection with the Lord. This study more than any other has forced me to really think about what God is saying to me. The Word is objective, but this method of questioning what is said in every paragraph makes the words become internalized, and therefore subjective. It results in my seeing how to better live out what is being taught. It is convicting. Whether I complete this Notebook in a year or not, it is a good adventure!
