Dan Brown teases a huge reveal until the end of the novel. It's so hyped up but elongated that it starts feeling draining, making me audibly groan a few times. I wasn't at the edge of my seat but just rolling my eyes when the tease kept on going for so long. The reveal in the end was the opposite of earth shattering and it only felt like the characters were just overly dramatic and made a hoopla out of nothing. My eyes hurt from rolling them so much.
