It's a great headtrip ride we found. Step by step sort of police procedural by 2 detectives on Mars, one just has to experience. Pity the American audiences cannot get more products from FRANCE.

Absolutely off the wall. Can't discuss it without spoiling it. Just go! Experience. But, don't do IMAX.

Enjoyed it. Good but not great. Noble effort. I wondered if they'd touch on that 2nd Plane hitting the Tower where the office was under investigation, and, of course, after that, somehow the official investigation, into the then administration's misdeeds, vanished. How did he score into the Halliburton gig by the way? Also, if the President does it, it isn't illegal. I clearly remember You Won't Have Richard Nixon's tricky dick to kick around any more....but, we did, do, and, have. Interesting to catch the inspiration of that. What's also of interest is that, with the way things are, and, probably so everywhere, Government wise, in order to 'do' things, people have to 'go around' the order/tape, just to function.

I don't know why people keep talking about its original source material as a novel. It's a novella in English as they say, and worse for me, a "collection" of "short stories". I'd rather order and have delivered a multiple chaptered NOVEL, like the other books this guy has done, Three Body Problem, etc. But even that one, folks have problems with. I quite thoroughly ENJOYED the film, seen just a while ago today, and didn't even know the original story was 'his'. Tell me anyone having read the available on Amazon, 2 entries, Book of Short Stories, can they be read like a novel? Please Help. Thanks.

It's funny at times later on when you can understand what it is they're saying. But I can't discern whether Ritchie copies Tarantino or Tarantino copies Ritchie. Nor do I care. It's good for once if you're drunk, maybe, but nothing else. Colin Ferrell is a HOOT.

Shuzhen Zhao who plays Nai Nai steals this Student Film for me. It's a bit uneven and it loses the energy in the last quarter for me...things occur and sit and don't resonate...but do hit a bit again towards the end, especially the last chat Billi has with Nai Nai, and I still can recommend people see and experience it for theirselves.

Because SPOILER ALERT!!! First it's his then her story. Fine. But in her story it becomes his again. Instead of sticking with the Fantastic take they go for the Realistic one as well. Too much. It's cheating or trying to and not doing both very well. Should have stuck with the one. Could have put up with the goofy stuff regardless. But with those and the didactic dialogue and the too many views and not explaing the sick person in the bed, who for all intents and purposes, should be the boy, telling the story from flashback, as typical as that'd be, it'd still be okay. But with all this going on and too long at that to do it, well, it's too much and we just don't buy it. Jerking us around like that. Geez, the attention to details otherwise, the beautiful artwork. A shame to waste it with the hamfist dialogue and flip flopping story attempts, that just ruined any verisimilitude.

Enjoyed it. I was able to. Didn't care that it was full of a lot of references...and so thought I'd like to have some sections a bit slower to catch them. But it means one needs to see it again. And or to have the volume in the theater turned up...which is odd, because sound levels in theaters these days are typically too LOUD.

Margaret, just saw this. I hear you. Perfect review! Can't agree more. I was a bit puzzled by the ending and then reading this made it clear. The only other thing about hares I felt for, was a corollary to the people in war, or the people who will continue to take care of the rich. Thousands upon thousands will multiply, coming and going, and be no more than their mere whimsy. Perfect about the BEATS. Way too much. Annoying to the point of being a turn off of the film, which I generally liked.
