Blood-C is nothing special. In fact. the story is pretty laughable, the protagonist makes all types of promises and vows, but NEVER succeeds in keeping them. The show tries to keep itself alive by having gore in every. single. EPISODE. However, the fighting animation is not half bad, the fights actually get pretty intense at some points. But, having good fighting sequences is not enough to save this anime. To sum up, this show is only worth watching if you really, truly, love gore.

Death Note is one of those rare animes that do not have to have crazy fight scenes to be intense. It's smart, well thought out, and it makes you root for the "antagonist" and the "protagonist" at the same time.To sum up, Death Note is one of the best animes I have ever watched. I would HIGHLY recommend Death Note to people who love strategy and crime related shows!
