1.5 stars if I could.. and that’s just for the twist. I didn’t like the fact he wrote about the character dreaming about her forbidden body when she was 15….. not sure I will reach for another lee child anytime soon.

Genuinely a struggle to get through. I found myself eye rolling a lot. I could tell this wasn’t written by a woman the way Lucy described how ‘hot’ every single male character was. Same, it had potential but Lucy come across rude, unprofessional & ultimately.. a bad mother. Would not recommend at all.

I found this book exhausting to read. It’s not from anyone’s perspective so it’s a lot of ‘he said she said’. On again off again relationship with no real ending. I had to force myself to read to the end thinking there may be a twist.. I was wrong.
