The Roman Catholics teach the hard salvation and so do the Protestants. I was saddened when I saw Christ on the cross in the movie as that is a heaven image!! This teaches our works get us into heaven and that’s not the case. It’s our faith. And from faith comes good fruits/works. Works don’t make us any mor Christian than anyone else. Faith to our souls is like water to the plant. Without water it won’t produce fruit. Without faith you won’t produce good works in the eyes of God. My view is not popular as it is not main stream religiously taught ( Catholic, Protestant, etc). In scriptures Eternal Life is called a “GIFT” from Gods grace. It can’t be taken away otherwise it’s not a gift and God isn’t an Indian giver. You however can refuse to take the gift and you can also choose by the free will given to us to throw it away.
