Watching this today on an apt date of 01/01/2021, feeling like as if not much has changed in the world. The lockdown in the city is still here and so too is the systemic racism of an indigenous race that has every right to be treated with respect, but still is not. I found it a catchy and simple story line but really took me to those eras of the 70's and 60's in 2 captures of Boori's life story. it was so sad to find like modern day and seemingly an endless list of wrong doings outside of this story are still occuring. The pivotal point is the brother Paul and his demise and the tears will flow unless you are some unfeeling alien. I recommend this highly its real and so few Australian natives stories come to light and ones where the people come across favourably so this makes a fresh input to someone getting their story across, hearing their life. 5 Stars.
