Probably the worst adaptation of the franchise to date. If you don't want to use the source material, aside from names, just call it something else and move on. The premise is obserd and basic logical reasoning from the characters is missing. You're telling me that two highschool kids can some how break into a top security research facility with a flashlight and voice message from an iPhone?! No security staff present in the facility after hours? Unlock all doors in the lab with only their dads key card without secondary security codes? That's how you want to start this off?! Good luck!
