If you like watching aliens dance to weird dubstep, I guess you might like it.
I'm struggling to understand where the good reviews are coming from. Taking out dialogue can be done well, and here it adds to a sense of isolation, but that is about it. The rest of the movie feels like the director said "lets have aliens have powers, but not use them competently. Oh, and the main character has a tragic backstory, with no real consequence to the story or her character". Nothing about this film really brought anything new or fresh to the scene either.
There are no consistent motivations for any of the "characters". The main character spent more time staring at her surroundings than actually dealing with the threats to her, or lack thereof. The aliens never actually tried to kill or capture her, except for maybe once near the end, but when she is in their ship they decide to let her go. Why? Who knows! She killed 3 or more of them, and is shown to have led a violent past, so why would they take pity on her?
The actress did her best to save this movie, and to her credit she was stellar, but the "plot" and ending made no sense, and all that was in between were silly animations and weak jumpscares.
