For those criticizing 1-star reviewers telling us ''if you are anti woke, you mustn't our shouldn't have played previous dragon age games because they have females and homosexual characters'', let me tell you the difference between something woke and something normal.
Dragon Age Origins, 2, and Inquisition, and the Mass Effect Trilogy had female and homossexual characters indeed. And no one complained. You know why? Because they were not trying to force an ideology in their dialogs and they were not the most important thing about the game. In fact, those games were praised because of the freedom, you could do whatever you wanted, like having a relationship with them or even being rude to them or to any any other character in the world. (Totally different from Veilguard, in which you are forced to being nice all the time)
Now, imagine a medieval fantasy game in which people frequently use language like ''non binary'', they apologize because of referring to someone as ''She'' instead of ''they'' and people complain about transfobia. Yeh, that is Dragon Age the Veilguard.
I know you are deranged, but maybe some day you will note the difference.
In the meantime, if you are a normal gamer and not an activist disguised as a gamer, don't buy this game. If you prefer a dark RPG with a great story and compelling character personalities, as Dragon Age games used to be, don't buy this game.
