The title should be "the summer I turned pathetic" coz that's what the main female lead was. She wants attention from every guy it seems. She is just every ready to kiss any guy. And apparently all the guys coming into her life are nice guys. She couldn't even stick to one guy for an entire summer. And she is self entitled everything is just about her. Their mother had died but still it's about her and her grades her sadness. Just stop making everything about yourself for once. I think most of the people would feel the hatered towards the protagonist. It kind of reminded of vampire diaries, swinging between two brothers. And ruining relationship of brothers with each other.

2 Star for the beauty of Goa, and for Sharukh khan's part. It was totally what we call as "Ameero wali problem." Problems which only ameer people can relate coz baaki sab toh hota hi hai inke pass. So problem create karna padta warna life probably boring ho jaayegi inke liye. So Alia Bhat's character is basically a "Self-entitled" person, usko apne sivaye aur koi nahi dikhta. Wo cheat kar sakti hai but koi use dhoka de de toh madam needs a therapist. Yeah double standard I know. So after literally shouting for more than half an hour,( is it me or Alia bhat literally shouts instead of delivering dialogues and what's with her mouth when she speaks as if her voice was not irritating enough) and making audience confuse as to what exactly is her problem. She takes help of SRK who is a psychiatrist, who helps her with her problems. Apparently he tells her to keep on trying with different person hereafter will be termed as "Kursi" untill she gets the "one Kursi". So here is a thought what if guys also take the same approach and keep on trying with girls and let's say for some guy she is just some kursi and not the kursi but for her he is the one. Then what will happen, wapis psychiatrist k pass session start Hain na? Normally Bachpan me koi incident hota b hai toh uske upar itne memories toh Bane hi honge ki use hum piche chod paaye so basically she was 6 when her parents took her from her grandparents after that usme itna grudge hai ki for around let's say 20 yrs she hated her parents while living with them. And it's not even that her parents were bad parents tab matter would have been different they were shown as very loving parents jo apparently Kiara k nakhre uthate hai. So I didn't like the movie, the only good things were song, Goa and all the SRK's part. Rest you will feel like slapping Kiara.

Watched this movie recently, performance is great by each and every actors. I just didn't like the story. The guy Anthony never gave importance to his father, never considered his feelings. Talked in a very disrespectful manner, and on top of that could never see the love his father had for him. What if Oliver(father) never had any such incident in his life, would that make him less of a father or doesn't he deserve love and respect from his children just because he has not done something incredible in his life. Anthony did not even believe the story his father narrated at first place, he believed only when validated by the old lady. And because of this suddenly he felt all love and respect for his father. Ofcourse it's a happy ending but did not like the reason behind it In relationship you should love the person irrespective of his/her achievements. Otherwise everything is just materialistic. Also the role of girl friend was really irritating.

There are some movies for which you don't expect negative feedback, yeah some technical feedback is fine. And this is one of those movies but to my surprise I saw so many 1 star ratings and lengthy negative feedback. It seems all of them are related to each other and they collectively decided to write something absurd. I pity their state of mind. I liked the movie, it has great court scenes, to the point script no unnecessary romantic scenes and songs, the issue was taken and shown with all seriousness, the closing statement of Manoj Bajpai was superb. Performance of every single actor is amazing. Worth a watch.
