The movie is unique and entertaining. Although you can underrate it in a few moral grounds but there are a few points touched of the cliche soceity that needs addressing.
The comic timing is perfect, acting is awesome. I was awestruck with Athiya's acting as she was the reason I was avoiding the movie. But after seeing it, it's overwhelming, she in some scenes overshadows Nawaz sir. Other actors are commendable and every character offers their share in the story building.
Story is simple as it could be and nothing exxagerated much. Small points covered in a movie that adds more meaning of you know the society. For ex there is a scene where Athiya's father offer a small amount as was expected from Nawaz's mother as he knew his mother has dowry expectations. However Nawaz did not accept the payment saying if we educated people don't stop this then when is this going to stop.
In an indian society it's pretty tough parents to always be on toe to keep her daughter's in laws happy, this scene denotes a share of what her dad was really going through with an heavy heart and the way Nawaz relieves him from the pressure impresses the daughter, and it's as logical as it could be.
The story is always moving and there is not a single dull moment. Movie has no villains and extra point for the aunt's characters on both sides who support the family for right unlike what's always shown in most bolly movies.
If you haven't seen the movie, go for it, read reviews here and not the paid critics.
