Loved it. Kept my interest all through. Superbly directed by Clint Eastwood, he knows what works on the big screen. Nicolas Hoult really got his role spot on.

Not seen it since its release, until now. Years later its better than i remember, though a bit cartoonish. Just a standard Bond film. The usual stunts, girls, strong opening song. Didnt much like Timothy Dalton, lacking in humour, and glad he did only two. Previous film of his was better. Recent Craig films are way better.

Enjoyed it. For a low budget British movie good fun.

Dreadful film. Idiotic story, lousy dialogue, and some of the worst acting you'll see all year. How embarrassing that stars like Cate Blanchett and Jamie Curtis took the money for this amateurish junk. Rubbish special effects, lame jokes and whoever thought it was a good idea to have Kevin Hart in a sci-fi action movie needs sacking on the spot.

Rare visit for me to the cinema but as a huge fan of the first two Alien movies i couldnt miss the chance of seeing the latest one on the big screen. Watched it, mostly enjoyed it but doubt i'll ever see it again. Prefer to watch the originals again as they are masterpieces of action/sci- fi. Special effects are good, cast is energetic but lacking in charisma, dialogue is terrible and it all seemed to be too rushed. Clearly this was made with a view to make money from a new generation of fans eager for something new. Adds little to the francise. You can see the Director has his grounding from horror. Maybe i just had my hopes set too high especially when i found out Ridley Scott was involved again. Nice try but the ending leaves you unsatisfied. Says it all when the audience just got up quietly and left at the end with no enthusiasm or chatter. Doubt any of them will return anytime soon.

Badly dated, typical 70's action film but still watchable. The usual wartime heroics and some solid acting. Not the worst you'll see.

Dissapointing. Hoped it would be better but despite an outstanding performance by Lupita Nyong'o it has too many plot holes and left me frustrated that a good idea wasnt worked through enough.Watchable and to be fair i know people who loved it. Just not for me.

A masterpiece. Superbly crafted thriller. Production is first class, well staged, brilliantly directed and the cast is exceptional. Ending is a stunner. Watched it so many times and never tire of it. One of the all time great movies.

So dissapointing. Overlong and too indulgent of the director. Clearly its a pet project of his. Yes the scenery is superb but the story and the characters are all over the place..Too many fractured plot lines. Too many people to care about. The ending is an incoherent mess. Think i'll go watch ' The Good, the Bad and the Ugly' again. A proper masterpiece.

Not really my thing, only watched it because i like Russell Crowe. Too slow for me. Nothing new. Nowhere near as scarey as they would have hoped. Only the ending lifted the film.
