You have to know the franchise before coming to watch this movie. Coming in thinking this is just a horror movie, then you will leave disappointed. This movie is part of a larger story that is masterfully told and not knowing the origins of the Evil Dead and the masterminds behind it will really put you at a disadvantage when it comes to enjoying it. That being said, I believe the cinematography kept true to form of the other movies. It held true to itself and what the Evil Dead was built on. It was funny, endearing, gory, and down right disgusting in oh so loving way. It was probably one of the best movies of the franchise. I know they say that this is the last of the franchise, but Lily Sullivan was kick butt and I would love to see her in more Evil Dead movies. She would be a wonderful character to play Ash's illegitimate love child.
