This game offers a diluted experience where choices seem largely inconsequential, characters lack depth, and the complex storytelling hallmark of the series is notably absent. More frustratingly, Veilguard frequently inserts real world political themes in a way that feels forced and heavy handed. Rather than focusing on the complex, fantasy-based intrigue that Dragon Age has explored so well in the past, this game brings modern political issues to the forefront in a way that feels preachy and disrupts immersion. The game may offer some surface-level enjoyment, but it is far from the captivating, choice-driven RPG that the franchise is known for. It feels like a missed opportunity, where so much potential was sacrificed in favor of a more conventional, mass-market approach. For those who cherished the original games, Veilguard may ultimately feel like a painful reminder of what was once a uniquely profound and unforgettable RPG experience.

Some battles felt like a breeze, while others were downright impossible, leading to a lack of balance and enjoyment. Despite the impressive graphics and attention to detail, the world of The Last of Us Part II felt lifeless and uninteresting. The game's environments were beautifully designed, but they lacked a sense of purpose, making exploration feel tedious and pointless. Overall, The Last of Us Part II was a major disappointment for me. The game had a lot of potential, but it failed to deliver on many levels, leaving me feeling underwhelmed and dissatisfied.
