It’s definitely not the first but nobody really expected it to be, I have “film problems” with this movie main one being that Mr Murtle (the guy that owned both dogs) went blind and talked about it in the first when he had a standard fence and in this one his fence is a giant stack of fridges washers and dryers, so how did he make the wall? Aside from that the characters are basically the same with little tweaks some being that Denunez is replaced by a softball pitcher there are two catchers this time this movies version of smalls is a lot younger and an even bigger nerd lastly this movies Benny is kind of a dick. Other than that the chase in this one is more tense since if they fail the dad could lose his job at nasa (go figure) I don’t see this movie as bad I see it as average just know it’s not the first one and it’s a sequel from the 2000s before seeing it other than that the movies ok
