Definitely worth the watch, rating is accurate, and honestly, I think it’s lower than I would’ve placed it for it’s genre.. to be frank (no pun intended) (must watch to comprehend pun reference lol.) Personally, this is the most beautiful love story I’ve ever gotten out of a movie, and I’ve seen quite a few of them in my 31years. Really shows have fast you can fall in love with someone, how easily you come to garner that all consuming knowing that they’re your person.. it’s intoxicating really. Frankly, if that’s not the kind of love I have, then I don’t have want it. Having known my Husband over 20yrs+, married for 7 of them, and having to spend several years apart with other people.. between the actual admittance of love for each other, and actually ending up together.. because it just wasn’t our time yet, it’s a story I can relate to. That is, if life has other plans for you first, and outside forces kept you apart, but they really are your soulmate.. then in time, you’ll find your way back to one another, no matter the time or distances apart. That may soundhjack lol

*Spoilers* - As a woman and a Mother, there is a story line that had me crying and grasping at my heart for Adele, as well as any other woman who has been through the loss of a child, but more to the point, a child you’ll never get to know, or got to hold. That is a different type of grief, one that is unimaginable, how lonely that must feel, and the void it must leave. Really heart wrenching, and such a profound love & life story.
- Josh Brolin was fabulous, and Kate Winslet lovely as ever.. she truly knows how to play her role well, and she always seems to rule the romance genre of cinema. Happy viewing! ✌🏽🫶🏼
