Ok... I really wanna like this show. I think Ruby Rose was a good call as Kate Kane, but her original source material makes her so much more unique as a character. However, the show has basically made her a Bruce Wayne knockoff. Batwoman never modified Bruce's suit as her own, her father made her suit, along with all her weapons. She also uses guns, and has a soldiers mindset. She is indeed a lesbian, and did get dishonorably discharged from the military, so they got that right, but there's a lot that's so wrong here. Why oh why is Luke Fox such a WIMP!!? They pulled this same stunt with Mr.Terrific on Arrow! I don't get it! The guy is Batwing for cry it out loud! An ex-military soldier himself. A champion boxer, mixed martial artist, and has been personally trained by Batman. Although he's quite brilliant, he's not just some tech nerd like they've made him out to be. Key things like this could make this a far better show. In conclusion, the cinematography is cool, the acting is ok, but the fight scenes could be a lot better. Dude... It's Batwoman! The fight scenes should be top notch quality! I'm hoping things get better, so I'll stick around for the rest of the season to see how things go.
